We are pleased to chronicle AFTA's current events.  We invite you to partcipate and play a role in this exciting plan.

Saturday, October 20, 2007 was a very special performance and gala event featuring The Reunion. This evening of entertainment raised the curtain and financial support to get the show on the road and move the AFTA vision into reality.

Tuesday, August 21, 2007 AFTA Board members appeared at the San Clemente City Council meeting to set the stage for negotiations for a lease of City land as the site for the amphitheater. According to the Grant Deed from Laing Forster Ranch to the City of San Clemente, our target property was set aside for “up to 30 acres for cultural arts facilities, including without limitation one or more amphitheaters, ...restaurants…and ancillary buildings…” Your input and support at this meeting dramatically helped AFTA move this forward.

Tuesday, August 7, 2007 AFTA produced an information meeting about progress and plans to build the Performing Arts Amphitheate in the foothills of San Clemente. Supporters and volunteers joined AFTA Board members at the Pacific Golf and Country Club where they asked questions and learned more about the new venue for performaning arts.
